Adjustments in the toll system
Introduction of a CO₂ emission component
On March 1, 2024, a new toll charge component "CO2 emission component" was introduced in the Czech Republic. This takes into consideration the vehicles registered in the electronic toll system and was determined on the basis of the implementation of the EU Directive 2022/362.
This increased the toll costs in the Czech Republic from March 1, 2024.
