Salzburg, April 14, 2025: The planned growth for the Lagermax Group will continue in 2024. The Lagermax Group generated a total of EUR 765 million in the past 2024 business year and thus increased its turnover compared to 2023. Despite a difficult overall economic situation and volatile markets, Management Board members Alexander Friesz and Thomas Baumgartner look back on the 2024 business year with satisfaction.

Focus remains on strengthening logistics locations, expanding new services, digitalization and sustainability

At the existing Lagermax headquarters in Salzburg, the expansion will start in the first half of 2025 with the construction of the new modern headquarters - completion is planned for the end of 2026. Lagermax is thus concentrating its current locations in the city at a central location and creating synergy effects in administration.

At the Logistics site in Arad/Romania, the expansion of the warehouse to 23,000 sqm was completed in January 2025. In Premstätten near Graz, the Group subsidiary FRIKUS is currently building a logistics hall with 11,500 sqm of usable space and a special warehouse for lithium batteries. The logistics hall is being built sustainably and has been certified in accordance with BREEAM.

However, the issue of sustainable logistics is not limited to logistics properties. FRIKUS already runs 85 percent of its fleet on HVO100 fuel (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).

The Green Logistics division is growing at Lagermax, from logistics for lithium batteries to future waste. LogBATT GmbH is a specialized, young company in the group that offers complete solutions for battery logistics. Through the acquisition of Ambach Entsorgung GmbH, Lagermax is developing sustainable logistics solutions for raw materials and valuable materials.

Lagermax Autotransport GmbH continued its consistent growth course. The range of services under the myLagermax brand in the B2C sector was significantly expanded in 2024. Under myLagermax, Lagermax Autotransport in Straßwalchen and Vienna offers a comprehensive portfolio of high-quality vehicle services that are specifically tailored to the individual needs of private customers.

Another step towards sustainable mobility and energy supply is being taken at the Lagermax site in Straßwalchen. A photovoltaic system with 200 e-charging points for 400 new vehicles is being built this year on an area of 9,000 square meters.

Lagermax Group records increasing number of employees

The company continues its growth course and strengthens its international market position. In order to enable continuous growth, the international workforce has been increased to 4,100 employees. Ongoing qualifications and training continue to ensure the highest quality of service for customers in the B2B and B2C sectors.
